Description
I heard about what happened to that poor soldier, Stephana.Most around here believe her mind just snapped from the stress of holding down our dwindling territory day in and day out. I wouldn't be the first in history that a soldier has broken down under stress...
Still, something about this does not feel quite right. According to her friend, Esdras, she was loyal and resolute. That doesn't mean she couldn't have been putting on a strong front, but that talk of shadows makes me think of Queen Sybell's story.
I believe we owe it to her to at least investigate for any external factors that may have caused this. I will let you borrow one of our relics here, the Lenses of True Sight. If anything is hiding in the shadows, or there are shadows with no clear source, these should allow you to see them.
My duty is to our history, so I can do nothing besides advise you. If there is any sign of actual danger, I would ask that you make it known to Prince Galen directly.
