Description
Hybrid Risk System NPCs can be found in major cities and many neutral cities like Booty Bay and Shattrath.No-Risk allows for cross faction PvP with no loot on death.
No-Risk PvE disables PvP entirely, so you cannot attack or be attacked by other players.
To opt-in to PvE Mode, choose No-Risk, then select PvE Mode.
High-Risk is its own separate phase out in the world, meaning you will not encounter No-Risk players. While in High-Risk, you will drop items from your bag when killed while in Tier 1 zones. If you are killed in a Tier 2 or 3 zone you will also drop equipped loot!
When entering High-Risk you will default to a Loyal Member of your faction. You can cast Mercenary for Hire to become neutral, allowing you to attack and be attacked by anyone, but also enable cross faction High-Risk grouping. You can switch between Mercenary and For the Horde or Alliance anytime in a main city by casting the spells in the General Tab of your spell book.
You can change risk modes at a Hybrid Risk NPC anytime you wish. Talk to a Hybrid Risk NPC and select either No-Risk PvP, No-Risk PvE or High-Risk PvP.
