Channeled13 sec cooldown
Envelops the caster in shadows for up to 2 seconds. While channeling, the caster is immune to any effects that would cause them to lose control of their actions. If struck by a direct damage attack while active, the shadows absorb the hit, harnessing the energy to Shadowstep to the attacker and making them take 20% increased damage from your attacks for 6 seconds.

This ability uses Shadowstep modifiers, but cannot have its cooldown further reduced, and shares a cooldown with other gap closer abilities. It only works against players.
