<Darond's shoulders slump as he sees you shake your head.>

I am the porter of this village, and a 'friend' to the elves. The medallion I've lost is my safeguard to pass through the enchanted barrier in the cave. Without it, I cannot do my job; every now and then, the elves require my services.

This is one of those times. And I have already searched for the amulet everywhere.
