The wilds are restless, and a sinister force may be orchestrating these strikes. I need you to be strong and adept <name>, for the time may come where we will have to deal with whoever is behind these ruthless attacks. As a result, and as a dedicated protector of nature, your first trial awaits.
As you adventure into the world and slay various beasts, you’ll find remnants of their hides. Your task is to gather 3 pieces of Crude Leather. As a Ranger, your mastery over the wilds has accumulated into an adept understanding of how to use what nature gives you to create practical things to make your next journey even easier. Maps, tents, even various bits of leather that can be used to upgrade your equipment.
Each hide is a tribute to the life of a fallen beast and a step toward mastering the ancient rites of the wild. And be warned, the deeper you roam, the more you might feel the eyes of unseen watchers upon you, as if the wilderness itself is keeping score. This is known.
Return with the leather, and together we will unlock the secrets of the wild and fortify our defenses against those who dare threaten our kin.
