Just bring them Salt. Ordinary salt. You'll go through a ton of confirmations and BAM, he will reset your current specialization to have no abilities rolled and refund all the scrolls you've ever spent on that specialization. Note that he will only be able to help you if you have abilities and talents that were affected by a nerf.

Obvious but necessary inclusion: Make sure the specialization you want to reset is the one currently active.
