A simple and precise guide to carded abilities, talents and what to look out for while prestiging!

ONE WITH THE LIGHT BEGINNER GUIDE:

One With The Light is about slanging big swords and exorcising your enemies. Sometimes you spin in a circle and have yellow particle effects. If you love ret pally from WoW its basically that lol

The reason I recommend this build as a starter is because you are able to get a lot of the talents as world RE's meaning you can go out into the world and insta get them . As you guys know season 9 comes with a fair bit of rng. Although you can have as many legendary talents/abilities you want this guide will be for setting up your One With The Light character for the best success when trying to roll all of the needed talents ! Plus OWTL is good for all content and can help you farm for other builds a lot easier ! Let's start with world RE's

So you can actually find the One With The Light talent in the open world which is great cause other builds require certain talents that you get via opening card packs. The 4 main ones you can use with this build are the following:

OWTL Location: Obtained by slaying the Avatar of Darkness behind Uther's Tomb in Western Plaguelands, then /bow before the Beacon of Light that spawns in front of Uther's Statue https://imgur.com/a/7T0Htwk
Consecrated weapon location: Obtained by slaying Highlord Taelan Fordring in the top floor of the castle in Western Plaguelands and the road leading up to it since he is a pat. https://imgur.com/a/S7W9lFz
Exorcist's Slash location: Obtained from Light's Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands , there is a shady dealer hiding behind a barrel this ability costs 100g [https://imgur.com/a/2OpivRI
Purification by light location: Obtained from killing Malor the Zealous who is located in Main gate Stratholme . He is the boss on the left , right before the last boss Balnazzar. This entrance https://imgur.com/7S40INl

Starter Abilities

Charge is a must because being slow is cringe
Crusader Strike is also a must because this shit cranks single target
Consecration is a must if you do not have the Consecrated Strikes talent which basically casts it for you and gives 5% Strength buff (yes they stack)
Arcane Intellect Is a must because Spell power is

Now this is kind of personal preference but you can opt for Thunder Clap / Blessing of Might over Consecration but ONLY IF YOU HAVE Consecrated Strikes talent

Carded Abilities

Now this is where it's gonna get spicy and you have to take everything with a grain of salt because of the nature of the game . I'm going to list the abilities and talents but it doesn't matter if you have them all or as normal vs golden, just try to fill in where you can I will give multiple examples!

Divine Storm Will be most of your damage in aoe as well as providing for some insane heals
Seal of Command Will basically be all of your damage
Fel Infused Weapon Just pumps at all levels and helps a lot during prestige
Flametongue Weapon is good if you go the Lava Sweep route because of the additional damage you get while affected by Flametongue Weapon but 100% personal preference (can only use one weapon enchant tho)
Exorcist's Slash is super good for a starter version of this build , basically acts as instant cast Exorcism without the requirement of The Art of War plus reducing the cd of Divine Storm feels nice
Execution Sentence is decent damage as well as allows the use of Fanaticism which basically at 3/3 is 30% increased seal dmg vs target with Execution Sentence on them

Carded Talents

Here I will do my priority from top to bottom so if you find you don't have a talent just go down to the next one Try to prio the talents you have 3/3 of

One With The Light because well the build is kinda ass without it
Mental Quickness 5/5 this allows the build to go main stat Strength basically. 4/5 is probably okay but capstone bonus just flat increases magic dmg by 10%
Consecrated Strikes the Strength is nutty plus this allows you to not have to press Consecration all the damn time
Consecrated Weapon again the Strength additive is noice , plus the weapon damage that can proc Seal of Command
Righteous Vengeance is nuts damage and is doubled because we are going Strength
Seals of the Pure increases seal damage and that is
Two-Handed Weapon Specialization kind of self explanatory at this point lol extra seal dmg =
Vengeance basically perma 15% increased damage with Crusader Strike/ Divine Storm
Powerful Divine Storm more divine storm dmg
Sanctity of Battle 3/3 allows for every use of Exorcist's Slash/ Exorcism to make your next Hammer of Wrath be used at any hp
The Art of War 3/3 making Exorcism instant which can proc previous talent
Direct Command Alright hear me out I've tested this and honestly doesn't feel like you lose damage in aoe lol unless you are doing PULLS
Sanctified Wrath Makes Hammer of Wrath hit like a truck
Heart of the Crusader The capstone is really what makes this good so only card if you have 3/3
Ferocity Is also really good if you have 5/5 . Just flat 5% all attributes

Talents to INSTA lock

Any talents listed above are insta locks
Any proc talents such as Seething Flames or Stormbringer are fantastic
Hoplite Training especially if you happen to get Flame Wrath
Lunar Guidance is super good
Any melee crit talents such as Cruelty this one is especially good cause of Strength increase as well
Any hit chance talent Accuracy until capped at 14% then can start unlocking as you get better gear
Any Spell power increase or flat %Intellect increase such as Mind Mastery/ Heart of the Wild
Unbounded Deathhealer/ Draining Strikes are great if you plan on doing some solo manastorms (healing is pog)
Any flat Strength talents like Resolve are just good
Any holy damage increase such as Crusade
Just flat damage increases like Blessed Weapons
Ward of Light Great for manastorms !
Purifying Power You want to eventually have holy wrath!
Elemental Weapons If you chose the Flametongue Weapon route
Mana Reave Insta solves any mana problem you have or will ever have

Abilities to INSTA lock

Arcane Power Our best cd in classic hands down
Twisted Mind more Spell power
Judgement of Wisdom if you are having mana issues or Judgement of Light if you don't
Hammer of Wrath yep pally ability is insta lock shocker lol
Exorcism ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Holy Wrath Good aoe button Eldritch Wrath is good alternative
Emanating Light Allows for consecrate effect but while moving
Get yourself a couple defensives I'm a big fan of Ice Block cause you can just sit there and think about your life decisions
Also don't sleep on movement skills no one likes a slow poke Demonic Leap actually goated as well as Shimmer

Mystic Enchants

Seals of the Pure 3/3
Vanquishing Storm 3/3
Wizard's Divine Storm 3/3
Sanctity of Battle 3/3
Lunar Guidance 3/3
Strength in Faith 1/1
Precision 1/1 (unless capped) then go Divine Intellect 1/1
